Neil is known for appearing alongside Tom Hiddleston and Clare Danes in the Apple TV series The Essex Serpent and as Dr. Ades in the popular BBC series Call The Midwife. Securing many roles in Film, TV, Theatre, Commercials and Corporate sectors, Neil’s body of work includes a variety of genres; from drama and comedy, to musical and horror.

Ever enthusiastic and adaptable Neil can immerse himself across a diverse range of characters and accents and has additional musical and singing talents. Recent roles include the McDonalds ‘Order Like Stormzy’ commercial, Father Christmas at the country’s largest indoor Christmas experience and appearing as Nitro Neil the Mad Scientist at various venues.

How it started
Neil left school in 1972 and was soon on the road as bass guitarist and singer with various professional bands. By the mid 1980s Neil decided to have a change and qualified and worked as a Solicitor in London and Newcastle before returning to show business in the early 2000s. He was persuaded to appear in Jesus Christ Superstar at Chelmsford Theatre and went on to become a film extra, eventually progressing into acting full time. After studying at The Film Actors Academy, Neil has now had many roles in film, TV and on stage as well as immersive theatre, commercials and corporate videos.
